Nice support for a humanitary project in Tsévié, Togo

January 10th, 2016

The Consulate of Togo in Quebec was happy to attend a togolese soirée on January 9, 2016 in Quebec City, and participate to a funraiser for a humanitary project in Togo.

Over a great West African dinner party, the organizers from the togolese community in Quebec City were proud to raise a really good amount of money for the project.

The financial aid will eventually be injected to support a women group working into the agro-food industry around  the region of Tsévié, 50km North of the Capital, Lomé. This support will help constructing a water supply system in order to expand their harvesting.

The togolese community is waiting to get some financial support from the Ste-Foy Rotary Club and  the Consulate of Togo later on this year.

Another fundraising activity is expected around the Togo National Holiday, in late April.
